Sons of Anarchy inspired. Been rewatching via Netflix.
Some our obviously covers of the originals but were changed to fit the series.(Little things, nothing huge)
Sirscrapalot - Johnny I hardly knew ya! - Dropkick Murphys
More from SoA
Sirscrapalot - Vroooooooooooooom.
This one is a cover of a very old song...likely catch some heat for posting it but..eh, whats life without a little controversy.
Enjoy, an if not...pretend.
Sirscrapalot - Listen to the music - Doobie Brothers
Joshua James was one of my favorite musical finds from the past coupla years.
When you get to Season 5 Episode 8, when Clay & Jax are talking in that little office, in the background so low you can barely darn well hear it... is a pretty good song:
I'm going to see Charlie & the boys this Friday night over in Ft Worth.
Stoked!!!!
Screenshot of the point where Blackberry Smoke is playing:

Already into season 6.
An to think I'd not notice such things, silly Auminer.
Enjoy the show!
I expect a full report the following Monday. I understand the need for a recovery period.
Sirscrapalot - Hey hey...my my...rock n roll can never die.. - Battleme(cover credit) (Neil Young for Original)

Rock, classic, country, death metal, rap, insert music here...I probably like something from that genre.
Blackberry Smoke to Zappa.
I'm a fan of the music.
Sirscrapalot - The butcher, the banker, the drummer and then; Makes no difference what group I'm in; I am everyday people - Sly and the Family Stone
R.I.P. Glenn Campbell
Another for the great band in the sky...gonna be a helluva show.
Sirscrapalot - Like a rhinestone cowboy.. - Glenn Campbell
Saw my boys live last night. An while it wasn't the original group...I'm proud to say I attended an had a helluva good time.
The band in question is of course Lynyrd Skynyrd. Opening act was Aaron Lewis from Staind and he it seems he's gone full country...interesting is the word I'd describe his set. Not over familiar with his work post Staind. Second up was...Hank Williams Jr. Hank does a good live show thats for sure. An of course the headliner was Skynyrd. An it was **** awesome show. May not have been Ronnie singing, or the original crew, but Johnny Van Zandt did just fine, an the band kicked ass.
Some of the songs we got to hear..
Aaron Lewis - It's been awhile (from his Staind days), Country Boy I think was the name of the only other one I can recall. As I said above...he's not someone I'm overly familiar with.
Hank Jr. - Family Tradition of course, Country Boy Can Survive, A beer in my tear(Hank sr.) I think he also did Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound(another personal favorite...lol), Cheating Hear(Hank Sr cover again), All my Rowdy Friends are coming over tonight, cover of of something by Aerosmith I can't remember right now, but it was instrumental only, All my rowdy friends (have settled down), Ready for some Country, an a bunch of others including a 10 minute set where just did various hits an combined it all together.
Skynyrd - Gimmie Three Steps, Saturday Night Special, That Smell, Working for MCA, Sweet freaking Home Alabama, SIMPLE MAN, and FREE BIRD. Both are two my most loved songs..if not straight up my favorite of all time, and Call Me the Breeze.
Freaking **** good show an well worth the money for the tickets. I could've done without Aaron Lewis but seeing Hank Jr, and Skynyrd live more then made up for it, an now I can check off seeing not just two bands, but one that is pretty much my favorite(Skynyrd), an one I've always wanted to see(Hank Jr.). They all put on a good show an a good time was had by all.
Good times, good times.
Aaron Lewis/Stained - It's Been Awhile
Hank Jr. - Family Tradition
Hank Jr. - Country Boy can Survive
Skynyrd - Simple Man
Skynyrd - Freebird
So once again...a **** good effing show.
I love it when I can knock things that are important to me off my bucket list. LOL. @Auminer Up next is Blackberry. Ha!
Oh, almost forgot...one of the best parts of the show was right before Skynyrd came out, they played Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Got the crowd all fired up.
Sirscrapalot -'Cause you can't starve us out and you can't make us run;Cause we're them old boys raised on shotgun; And we say "grace" and we say "Ma'am"; And if you ain't into that we don't give a ****. - Hank Williams, Jr. - A Country Boy can Survive.

Sirscrapalot - Please don't take my sunshine away. - Johnny Cash for the cover.
One thing I love about Kid Rock an Hank jr, ...they do some crazy songs an videos.
Lets continue with the Kid Rock theme shall we? Good. Glad you agree...
An now I feel old...as this one is from 2001 according to the video. Time flies...
An the award to the band who uses the most celebrities in a video goes to...(Psst..it's not Kid Rock)
Now I shall leave you all..
Sirscrapalot - Taking it easy, but not at the Hotel California.
