Did anywhere in the first post, did I at all, at any given time, state that I bought a certain scale? No! I asked for people's opinions on the one I was interested in buying. I don't see how the post in any given way, was a waste of anyone's time. Like I have said tons of times, when you see the title of a thread, it clearly says who has started it. If you don't care for what I have to say, skip over my thread. Simple as that.
If I already knew what I was going to do, instead of asking opinions from others, I would have done a completely different thread, talking about the scale I had just bought. When I made the thread, I did NOT buy it yet.

You are right, I had intended to buy one at the time of that posting, but some unforeseen circumstances put it on a back burner until now.

Just got the notice that my new scale is on its way to me. Will update everyone as to its functionality, durability, accuracy, etc once received and I test it out.
George the only thing i can say about a scale is dont cheap out on one. You get what you pay for.
From personal experience i would get this one.

It is light weight for easy travel, you don't need to keep it plugged in, it is Trade Legal, very accurate, and you can attach an optional printer to it.
Simply put invest in a good scale.

In most states you need to have weights and measure certifie a scale that you use for buying by the lbs,then afer the state certifies the scale they will put a sticker on the scale certifing that the weight is correct..

i bought the 330lb one it works perfect doesnt seem to pick up on 5-6 ounces or less tho,

Well as my luck would have it, things slowed down quite a bit after I bought it, but it is always slow at the beginning of the year. When I tested it out though, it was pretty adequate. You definitely need to have it on the flattest service possible. Other wise you will not always get the same reading output.

Always a certain mystic about you George.Aside from that, like I said, I have just been busy. Got a couple new local buyers for stuff that I will be coming across doing pickups, as well as a few new clients that look to be good repeat customers.

I can see where you get that. I just meant things have slowed down as far as resale goes. I still do junk removal and scrap metal removal. Most of what I sell is electronics related, with the occasional goodie or 2 from junk pickups.
I did get a couple new local buyers, but so far, have only done business with one of them.
The confusion about the two numbers on the same product is that one is kilos and the other is pounds. Ex. 1kg = 2.2 lbs so, 150#(kg) x 2.2lbs = 330lb.
You see only 3 countries in the world dont use the metric system (in this case kilos) and the US is one of them. So you can see why sellers would want to put it in metric also.
And for those of you that dislike the comments that George puts or think that he puts too many, just let him be and let him enjoy his thread. Personally I think George strikes up great conversation for the most part, and contributes quite a bit.

I will be the first to admin, that sometimes my posts are useless/pointless, but in all fairness and honesty, there is a lot of members that will go off topic from time to time. It is no different then sitting around with a bunch of friends, family, or colleagues and "shooting the breeze"
All the negative comments or criticism, I just let them go really. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.
