    rediculous loads at the yard

Anybody that has been around this business long has seen some loads that make you wonder what were they thinking. I figured it would be fun to start a big dumb loads thread. I don't have any pics but mine would be this one. I saw some guys in an 2005 or so v6 f150 loaded with rotors and stuff and noticed it was bottomed out. They pull on the scales and gross 11,800 so they were hauling over 6000lbs in the bed of an f150

Last year I saw an early 90's Ford Explorer with three 20 foot I beams sticking out the back dragging the road. These were 6 inches by 16 inches and they had to put them all the way up between the two front seats. My first thought was "what a bunch of idiots". About three hours later, I felt kind of silly too when I found out that those beams were MINE. I had taken down a metal warehouse and stacked it to be put up later on my farm and they had been hauling it piece by piece to the scrap yard. I called the cops and they caught them because of the yard's strict ID policy.

Lol got to give those guys points for loading/hauling effort and ingenuity. Loading and hauling almost a ton (not 4 as I originally posted) of steel in a small v6 suv is sorta impressive! If thieves put 1/2 as much effort into honest work as they do into thievery, lots of them would be doing pretty darn well.
