    WOW!!! News travels fast. You posted this before I even heard about it and I live about 35 mile from this scrap yard. This yard is called ONE STEEL and they have a yard about 5 miles from my house and this where I take my steel. I hope the fire dosn't have an effect on thiere prices. I'll find out tomarrow because I have a load ready to go there.

    Yea this was a big fire! Black smoke could be seen for quite a way.

    Went to OneSteel today, they are still buying,$9.00 per hundred down .50 from two weeks ago. Don't know if the price drop was due to the fire or not.
