Personally when I buy new parts I get mine from Micro Center. If your lucky enough to have one of their stores near you they have great month long sales.

    Micro Center Northeast Ohio/Mayfield Heights

Is this too long of a drive for you?

Check out their monthly add, clearance, and refurbished items. Many times you can get a better price than online and you are able to pick them up from the store.

They have a Dual Core for 139.oo, I think that's a great price.

    Intel Pentium Dual-Core E2220
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
    2GB DDR2 RAM
    80GB Hard Drive
    DVD-RW Drive
    Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
    10/100/1000 Network
    Display Not Included

    Their refurbished prices are great.

3.5" 160GB SATA Internal Hard Drive - Refurbished
Usually ships in 1-3 business days.

    $24.99

They have a very liberal return policy and you can purchase an extended warranty. If you're close, the best part is just being able to drive to the store and pick it up.

They also have good prices on new stuff if you look at their ad. Their sales are month long so your not pressed for time.

If you go to the store, there is a huge "clearance" section with stuff people return. They do allow returns on "clearance" items and all of them I purchased have worked fine.

I have not ordered stuff from them online and I do not know how expensive it is for them to ship items, but like I said, if you can make a trip to the store, it's usually well worth it.

Newegg.com for anything new (CPU/motherboards, HDs, monitors, etc) or Bestbuy for DVD recordable media on sale. I sometimes buy new power supplies from compgeeks.com and misc commodity stuff on ebay (adapters, batteries, usb stuff, cables, etc cheapest place on earth).
