worked a little on the newest truck today

you may remember we bought steve the black truck a few weeks ago, we got a really nice parts truck the end of the week before. the fenders, hood, and doors are going on the black truck, its gonna save some money on the body work when we get it done. we also put the visors, the bezel and the ignition switch in the black truck. the seats will go in my silver truck, and we are putting the motor in the blue and silver dakota, last of all we will be putting the dash in my white truck.

Is the black truck a 12v or 24v? I recently helped a friend swap out his v10 for a 24v cummins. Theyre neat motors!

we have 3 going at the moment, the white truck is missing the water sensor on the fuel filter and a alternator, the dakota is going to be an errand truck when we get the motor swapped, so 3 we will have 4 counting the dakota, if one of the other trucks break down i can have the white one going in an hour or so and have it tagged and insured

sticking with makes and models makes sense, most specially if you can have one out back, in case you need a quick starter, radio, tie rod, bumper, windshield, or cup holder ; )

yep i passed on one today it was a little high and it was a 24v and i would like to goto 12v across the board as we understand them a little more, the missing alternator and water sensor were exactly that, parts that needed swapped

good job on the parts trucks. Having not to pay retail for parts is a big savings.
