No, actually... just the opposite. I know where there are three big AC units just laying outside rusting away, but I don't have a TACLA, nor do I have a reciept for the purchase of replacement units. You need one or the other to scrap AC units here in TX.

I guess they'll just lay there & rot. The beauty of the unintended consecuences of poorly-thought-out kneejerk legislation.

Once you brake them down they are not AC units any more. We have laws about scrapping AC coils from the bigger central AC units but you can scrap the smaller window units.(makes no sence to me)
