    Like things attract to each other.

    You need to read this thread, I just walked them thru the same thing, It is easier than what it sounds. Start with a Photobucket account or another hosting site like that, just makes it easier I think.

    Yes he did. I am a photo guru now, thanks again Mechanic 688. I just hope I am not breaking any rules now posting scrap pics.

    what bear is referring to.....editing before posting, concerns file size and download time for those still on slow dial-up connections

    the photo above has been saved and uploaded in .PNG format

    by saving in the .png format there is very little image compression applied so that the file size your computer needs to download to see the image will be massive.

    in this case the photos file size is 1,523,396 bytes also known as 1-1/2 megs
    on a slow rusty wire dial-up connection that could take a while........a long while



    .png format is mainly used to save images for printing at the highest quality

    for posting pictures on web pages or forums the .JPG or .GIF format is used for smaller file sizes and faster pageload time

    Thanks for the info Bear, I'm a newbie to forums and posting. Will adhere to the advise. ( Acknowledged ) Will also use a jpg next time instead of png. Didn't realize it made that much of a difference
