sawblade art?

I've been saving skill saw blades and pulling the carbide tips off. And I'm wanting to do something artistic with the blades. Im sure you guys here have some good ideas. Yard art maybe. I have 45 of them sofar. I was thinking I could try to do something quickly to get it into the http://www.scrapmetalforum.com/day-l...p-contest.html

artists use them to paint on too. That red one doesn't appear to have been used? Any that are still sharp, you can tell by feeling the cutting edge, would likely be worth something more than scrap(somewhere ; )

I didn't realize the carbide tips were worth saving. Are you selling them?

I know people paint them, but im trying to think of welding them together or tying them together. taking advantage of the fact that I have a bunch. Ill come up with something unique soon. im thinking a statue of some kind.
carbide sells for around $11 per lb. about 30 saw blades to make a lb. though. Not really worth it unless you have a bunch.

some of them might still be ok for use. we put new blades on all the time at work. if we need to make precise cuts its much easier with a new blade.
