If it works, sell it. Even if you sell it for way under it's value, you will still beat the scrap price... that's a lot of plastic on there. And it's a lot of work to strip it down.

With that said, if you do end up scrapping it, there's usually some decent weight in motors, wires, and some decent boards in there.

I can't watch that video now, but I'll assume that you are saying that it works. If so, then definitely list it on your CL under the business section. A start-up business or mom-and-pop type operation may need a copier and snap it up for a decent price. Also, list it in the Barter section and see what kind of offers you get, you may be surprised.

From personal experience, DONT SCRAP IT!!!!!!

whatever you get ( even if its only 5 more than you would get from scrapping) is not worth all the time it takes to break it down for a little bit of wire, motors, shred and a little bit of high grade board.

CL that thing so you can get back to getting more scrap.

    Good luck!

If you scrap it be carefull, that thing is full of toner (powder) and it will get all over the place. If you ever do get a toner spill, never try to clean it up with hot water, always use cold water. my .02
