Been at the hospital all week

Not me, The wifey finally went in for her knee replacement. We knew it was coming for the past few years, but now it just had to be done. She got it done on Tuesday, and I got her home this afternoon.

She is doing great and I can't stop her from walking around all over the place. Took her meds about an hour ago and she is sound asleep.

She will be out of work for about 2 months, but we have ben prepared for it.

All is well, and she will be back in the pool (most important to her lol) in about 10 days.

Also glad to hear it went well! While she's home recuperating, be a good time to get her to strip some wire for ya. Or something similar!

I had a bad knee after 14 or so years of soccer, would kill me to walk. Went to surgery, an after the recovery man..I started walking a lot and still do. The ability to walk an my eyesight are two of the things I value most. An my thumb..life would be no fun without a thumb. LOL

If she's used to working regularly then she's going to get irritable about not working.

Glad to hear she's doing good! Watch out though, my mother stayed with me while she was recouping and used it as an excuse to be fed, cooked for, waited on hand and foot.

Not really, she was pretty amazing, they seem to have knee surgeries down really good. She has had no issues, no problems since and is chasing chickens around the the back yard, growing organic everything imaginable, and really getting around better than she has in years.

    Here's to a fast recovery!

Yeah, would be hard to hold that cold drink with no thumbs.
