Today, The Good, the not so pleasent

As soon as you get stung go get a tomato leaf and crush it up and rub the juice right on the sting and swollen area.
The relief should be instant. will take the pain and swelling away,,,

Learned that from my dad when I was a young teenager. Picked up a cement block and disturbed a

I didn't know those sting! I've never heard of anyone getting stung by one until now.

They'll hit you like a truck, almost knocked me down.

down here they sting by the hundreds, and people have been killed by them. they are the worst I have ever been stung by. the live in huge hives ,usually under ground, I have seen hives fill an abandon car in one season.

P.S. maby shoulda staid and prayed longer in Church

Benedryl also works good to relieve pain caused by them dang gone pests !

Yep it works, but the reason I threw out my tip was cause if someone might get hit (stung) out in someones yard
while picking up scrap. It's fairly easy to find a tomato plant nearby to "borrow" a couple of leaves off it.

The acid in the tomato leaves will neutralize the poison from the sting.

Here's another old time way to combat the stings;

When someone gets stung by a wasp,bee,or ect. Mix your saliva and tobbaco from a cigarette together and place a ball of it on the sting. It stops swelling and pain.
