Your not a pretty boy, well you might but I don't know, but at any rate that wasn't leveled at you !I'm a pretty boy, sit in an office repairing computers, and have time to run a scrap business. Just wish I could do scrapping more than fixing people's problems, case in point, had a guy (project manager) from a company, next town over, calls us up today I answer the phone the guy asks me what happened to his search function in his Adobe PDF? Myself Computer Tech/Scrapper/Business Owner/Ex-welder/Do-it yourselfer-fixer-upper/jack-of-all-trades tells the "project manager" that he needs to use CTRL+F key to bring up his search function either that or go to the edit menu and click on find, lol... Anyway I wonder how some supposedly smart individuals actually get up in the morning and are actually proud of themselves for thinking that they are truly better than others, lol..

Scott i have the same problem.Along with the fact i can't spell Kat or is it cat,(and have never figured out how spell check works) anyway, i always tend to be long winded, in hopes of covering all my bases. Then i see my same thoughts expressed in 95% less words. and like u, im amazed. but at my age im not likely to change, nor will u is my guess. But keep in mind, long or short,--many of us enjoy your posts.

I don't see it ending (scrapping) but, I do see it leveling out due to the large number of people/businesses recycling now.
We will always need certain things like steel, aluminum and copper, etc. Where we might start seeing being able to make more money in the long run is with some plastics that currently aren't being recycled/re-utilized.
As for your last 3 thoughts, those are already in place - the laws/rules of free scrapping or scavenging as many cities put it, fuel prices and precious metal's.
it's about supply and demand and right now everyone has a supply but is our ''demand'' on par with the ''supply?'' I don't think so and thats why prices stay down.
because many manufactures and people in general are looking for ways to utilize things that won't need recycled in the end of its life.
