So I found out today...The NSA and CIA have nothing better to do then spy on folks who play games like World Of Warcraft, and other games...you know to watch for terrorism. I've included a link which you can find here The NSA is still in your WoW, watching you kill internet dragons
So this set of quotes, goes out to all you alphabet soup groups that work for the government. I dunno if their watching here to, but they are everywhere else including my games!
On with the show!
Oh an this set of quotes will be mostly from Thomas Jefferson himself, unless otherwise noted.
If we can but prevent the government from wasting the labours of the people, under the pretence of taking care of them, they must become happy.
When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
No freeman shall be debarred the use of arms.
I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
The constitutions of most of our States assert that all power is inherent in the people; that... it is their right and duty to be at all times armed.
Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty.
For a people who are free, and who mean to remain so, a well-organized and armed militia is their best security.
A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against every government, and what no just government should refuse, or rest on inference.
Oh there is more to come..I assure you. Stay tuned for part 2!

Mr. T quotes! Thanks to Hobo for putting the idea in my head with his!
Quote on!
Everything started as a dream. You gotta have insight, know what you want. You gotta have a plan. Like I tell anybody, if you fail to plan, you're planning to fail. I've been planning ever since I was a youngster. You've got to start from somewhere. There's nothing wrong or demeaning in flipping burgers. It's more proud than selling drugs. - Mr. T
We didn't starve. We spent wisely. Like I tell people in the ghetto, "If you can buy guns and bullets, why can't you buy food? You can buy heroin and crack cocaine, so why can't you buy bread and butter and milk? Why can't you pay your rent?" There's a lot of people in the ghetto who go out and get a fancy car and all that. The car costs more than their house. Meanwhile, your kids need shoes. That's not cool. - Mr.T
See, if I come into a black neighborhood and say, "Thanks for watching my show," and give out high fives and all that, I'm not doing no good. I go out and see a kid grabbing his crotch. Ain't nobody telling them that. Where do they get it from? They watch MTV. I say, "If you wash up more often, you won't have to grab your crotch." I'm telling these guys, "Why you gotta grab your crotch?" Then you see Michael Jackson grabbing his crotch 50 times. What's with him? - Mr. T
I pity the fool! - Mr.T
First name Mr, middle name 'period', last name T! - Mr. T
I believe in the Golden Rule - The Man with the Gold... rules - Mr. T
You're going through college, and you're going to be faced with a lot of things. You're going to face adversity, the main thing is don't quit. For many people it's easy to quit, but don't. That's what separates the winners from the losers, what separates the all-stars from the also-rans. - Mr.T
I'm not perfect, I'm not an angel, but I try to live a certain way because it brings honour and respect to my mother. I tell people that when they look at me, they're looking at nothing but a big, overgrown, tough mama's boy. That's who I am. - Mr. T
I ain't getting on no plane, Hannibal! - Mr.T as BA Barracus from the A-Team
Shut up, fool! - Mr. T again as BA from A-Team
An....
An yes..this is Mr.T's quote day..but..Gotta add in this Chuck Norris one to..

They must find it difficult, those who have taken authority as truth, rather than truth as authority.
-Gerald Massey

Thanks for the contribution! An your welcome for the Frost. He's a good source for quotes, an I have to remember which I've used in the past. Heh. I really should make something in excel to help me keep track, but..eh then it makes it feel like work.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sirscrapalot - Make it so #1!
Why bother with excel, I bet if you asked Mech nicely enough he could figure out a way to pull up every quote you ever made, and in a heartbeat too. Lol
I wonder how many quotes that would be... Gotta be at least a few thousand by now.
![]() |
Not counting my creative sig lines...closer to 1300 or so out of almost 2000 posts. Heh. Likely more.
I don't even think Mech can work magic like that! Quotes here, quotes in the tagline in normal threads...I don't want to even think about the damage it would to Mech trying to track them all down.
An thats not even counting the multiple ones in this thread!
Maybe we should get the Admin/Mods to come up with a count, an then hold a guessing contest! Ha! Heck I might even toss in a $10.00 gift card for the winner to get a beverage of their choice!
Japscrap I'm glad you enjoy them, it's why I do it.
An just for you...I give you another Frost quote!
Style is that which indicates how the writer takes himself and what he is saying. It is the mind skating circles around itself as it moves forward. -Robert Frost
Sirscrapalot - I'm not confused. I'm just well mixed. - Robert Frost
