    The Sirscrapalot quote thread..

Welp, I'm claiming a thread for myself. I'ma be posting a quote(s) everyday or try to. Mainly for my own amusement and cause I know some folks enjoy them. They will be mine, and others that interest, amuse, or make me ponder my own morality. All with proper credit given. Hopefully you folks will enjoy them in some way, whether they inspire you, make you laugh, spit soda on your screen, scream "WTH hell is he thinking", cry, sad, whatever. I have my quote in the SMF halls of wisdom an proud of it, perhaps the Admin an mods will mine this thread for others to include, though it's not my goal.

My main purpose is just to put a smile on someones face, provide a chuckle, or a thought provoking moment. Corny I know, but hey..it's my thread an I can be corny if I wanna..

If you have some you like, feel free to add them, or send me a PM or request one here an I'll be glad to find one for you.

Oh an yes..I'll continue my legacy of tagline thoughts an quotes, never fear.

Now let's get this party started..

Sirscrapalot - Quotemaster an keeper of the traveling cooler.

I have got one for you. On my face book the other day, a friend was saying how much he is praying to do the right thing, key word trying. I came to start thinking, "Trying is the first excuse for not getting the job done." Trying to win is not the same as winning, ya dig?

Experience is that which allows me to recognize a mistake when I make it again...and again...and again........

I'm exceptionally greatful for ALL my mistakes, they have really forged the wisdom and my new vision in life. I use to be a 9 to 5 hamster on a wheel, tired all the time, poor health, and very little to no time for my family. Scrapping is not just cash in my pocket, it's therapeutic, it's liberating, and solidifies the definition by which I now live by. As a result, I only have what I NEED, I do what I want to when I want to, and nothing is more important than my happiness and my family. Scrap on fellas.

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities. - Dr.Seuss
