    Saturday,pretty normal.

Well we have been needing a new gas cook stove. the oven was getting kinda hit or miss on lighting, and actually blew the door open once. Now thru the years ive had hit pretty good luck with used appliances,But normally i dont buy them someone in the family has bought a new one, they pass along the old one, on the rare occasion i have bought one i generally dont pay a lot and i can say i have gotten my moneys worth out of them. We drove to Little Rock last month only to find out, No major appliance place,Sears,Home Depot,Lowes keep anything in stock except the display, "We can order it be here tuesday" Well another trip to LRock didnt appeal to me. so we didnt get one. my wife found one at an estate sale two blocks from home,100 bucks, so i went looked at it, looked great quite a bit newer than the one we have, i thought great deal. My Son in Law came to help, we went picked it up, drug the old one out,new one in, Oven doesnt work on it either. you could tap the regulator it would work, tap it again it would quit. so out with the new, back to the sale, glad it was only two blocks. Guy was real great no hassles on getting my money back. I know he wasnt aware of the oven,he's just the son in law got stuck clearing the house. But anyway went a bought a new one today, still gotta pick it up wensday, but only have to drive to Helena, instead of Little Rock.

You got me on that on. At first read, I went "He's going from Arkansas to Montana???"
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

That was nice of the guy to give you the money back, most of those sales are ''As is.'' Glad it worked out for you. I was laughing though at the oven door blowing open even though it probably wasn't funny at the time!

He was a real decent guy, What happened, the folks were in a car wreck about three years ago, the wife was killed, her husband finally got well enough to come home with assistance. he passed away a few months ago. his Son in law from Texas has ended up having to take care of all the legals and such. He was real good, he wouldnt charge for any christian books, hymnals or Bibles.
