I recall a truck driver in Nashville, being in the paper for making a
million wreck free miles. Or maybe it was just 500K, but either way it was
a lot. They asked him how he managed to make so many miles without any
wrecks and he said something like this, "When I'm driving down the road,
with cars all around me, well it's not only cars, it's people, and to me,
it's not only people, it's my family and friends. The one in front of me
who seems to be lost is my old aunt (so-an-so), and the one beside me is my
nephew "bob", the one on the other side of me is my niece sally, the one
behind me is my best friend Al", and on and on he went describing the
people in those cars all around him all day long, and that was how he had
managed to make so many wreck free miles without simply squashin a few of
em like they were just so many bugs on the road haha ; )
As I've read these Craigslist rants over the last couple of weeks I've
often thought, those people ain't just on Cragslist, they're all around us
all day long, and sadly enough, most of em don't give a damm if they run
over ya or not, and I for one wouldn't want to get in their way an give em
the chance, cause they just might do it. It's not just here in the good ol
U.S. of A either, it's running rampant all around the world. Seems people
just don't care about anybody else anymore, and sometimes it gets to me
too.
Thinking I'm gonna take a little scrap break. You guys, and gals, be cool : )
