Well.. more profit I guess for this "charity"
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
I would have a serious ethical problem if I was sorting for Good Will, making min wage, and found 10K....
We have a thrift store down here, where the employee's take the best stuff, an get it for free. Which seems to me to be counter productive..your raising money for a cause as a non-profit, but allow your employee's to take the good stuff, instead of letting it be sold, or them paying for it. No wonder they always need money!
Sirscrapalot - I have selective hearing, an right now, I'm selecting not to listen to you. - me again..I think...or was it you..I dunno!
PS - We need a facepalm smiley. Please?
Not me. If I found $10,000, I would take the whole $5,000 and walk down the hall to the boss' office with that $1,000 in my hand and I'd walk right in with that $500 & tell him I needed to talk to him about this hundred dollar bill I found on the way to work.
I kid.... but man it would be tough!

Now I just need the link to that one, an the eye poke one Auminer uses..
Disregard...I found it! Now just to remember..curses!
Sirscrapalot - I'm better at quotes then I am finding smileys.
I found out recently that Goodwill is a For Profit business. Goodwill has Ebay Auctions that siphon off all the high end stuff they receive. Also that Car that you donate to Goodwill- well it just goes to auction and Goodwill reaps all the proceeds of the sale. Their prices have gotten way out of whack too. Used to be you could go in there and find deals.. now it's more like pawn shop prices than some "charity tying to do good" prices
