The accent didn't jive with the hands and seemed a little to fake to me.

I do too. Problem is that I just don't have time to play around right now. So, thinking it worked, I thought I'd post it so someone else can benefit from it. At least that was my thinking at the time.

But now that I know it doesn't work, it saves me from having to dig up all the hard drive magnets I strategically planted around the house to keep the aliens away.

Oh sure, I'll bet you are going to debunk that one too. But I am firmly convinced it works, since not one alien has visited my house.

    Too funny...

Okay, this might seem funny but it's the truth. I have EM targets on my desk, in my cell phone and strategically placed around my house and business. That's not far off from having magnets to keep away Aliens, although the scientific evidence might be a little more convincing.

What type of magnets do you use to keep the alien critters away?

At the heart of science is an essential balance between two seemingly contradictory attitudes--an openness to new ideas, no matter how bizarre or counterintuitive they may be, and the most ruthless skeptical scrutiny of all ideas, old and new. This is how deep truths are winnowed from deep nonsense. -- Carl Sagan

They are the Neodymium hard drive magnets. They have a special quality to them that they throw off the aliens' discombobulators and make mind reading almost impossible. I made sure to put them magnet side up, leaving the brackets on like the instructions said.

How do you know that for sure as they could have arrived as the mailman, pool cleaner, any other service person. They will take up human form to keep from scaring us, you know.

Well, let me put it this way: I haven't yet been *mumbles* probed.

Oh, and Grouchy -- not a good idea. With a little extra momentum, a metal object can be um, let's just say painful.
