Do what I used to do. I charged $20 for photographing researching and writing a listing, then 50% on top of that. That sends all the $10 item people packing. You are in business to make money, not to HOPE to make money!

Also, while eBay may be eliminating their program, all that means is they will stop promoting you. Nothing to stop you from continuing to do this on your own without eBay's help.
