Amen SnowBeast, and Ohno! Sledge, not two of ya's! (btw, get one of those bake-in-bags and you can't hardly go wrong) Not sure if I was bored crazy, or just out of range any other station, but driving through the darkness one night, listening to some talk on radio to a turkey farmer, who'd been raising and cooking them things 40 years, he says the first mistake most people make is cooking it on its back(i guess they looked at too many pictures) but he says to cook it breast down in the juice and it'll be lots better. I tried that, it works ; )
Thanks everybody for your wishes, Happy Thanksgiving

I break down my raw turkeys to cook it takes half the time and allows you to cook the dark meat a little longer if needed. seperate the skin from the meat and put some butter underneath mmm mmmm
