I have a local shop & I can't complain with them $2 bucks to the even dollar above spot, BUT some weeks there is no silver or others get it before me .
another shop has not sold any silver once it went below $30 , so he must be stocking up BIG .
So the APMEX will help keep the flow going wile I still use local as available .

I was watching a movie on Turner Classic Movies looked to be early 1940s .
And i noticed some thing that was just a passing nothing in the day & just a casual thing .
2 men ordered drinks , Grape juice actually , the drinks were served and Fred Astaire pulled carefully from his paints what sounded like a Dime hitting the serving table
& you know what - - he even got change .
I still remember my father telling me for one nickel in the 30's 40's you could get a real sandwich a drink & desert
That .05 equals a conservative $7 so a silver dollar was like $100 if not $140 . Go to a deli and get 20 lunches year 2013.
seems the 1930 40 's may very well be on the far left and 2013 is on the far right - but the value of precious metals hangs tight .
As always there are better investments and many worse
