    thank you admin. and moderators

    As the year ends and a new year starts I want to thank the administration and the moderators for your time and efforts to make this forum a valuable asset to our businesses. When I am turning and burning during good weather I do not take the time to respond to posts or even think about the dedication it takes to keep this site going. During this time I read a lot but do not respond to many posts. During the holidays and cold weather I can devote more time to the forum. Thank you for your interest, dedication, and continued support of the forum.

    For those interested in the moderators of the threads, look at the bottom of a section and it will list the moderators. These individuals have to monitor our activities regularly taking time from their scrapping. Thank you and happy New Year to all.

    Yes, thanks Admin and moderators: Mick, Parrothead and Mechanic688. Not sure if there are other mods, so sorry if I missed anyone.

    I'm still worried that Mick will psychoanalyze me through my posts and find I'm totally unsuited for scrapping...or anything else for that matter... Been wondering for nearly a year why Parrothead calls himself that...he seems to be a pretty decent head through his posts!! And Mech, well, he must be a quick draw guy...you know, where someone asks a question and it seems like Mech has a couple links up before the OP clicks the "post" button!!

    And all of you must have the patience of, well, unh, a really calm guy!! How else can you patiently help the guys who ask the same questions over and over and over.....

    Finally, Admin: Thanks for putting this forum on-line and allowing all of us great unwashed play on it!! But could you please change your avatar from that creepy hollow face to something a scrapper can relate to?

    Can't remember if Parrot chose that name cause he's a fan or not when I asked once.

    If not maybe he can share why he chose it.

    I'd be the last one to tell anybody they're unsuited for scrapping. Remember the story I related about my neighbor? He asked me why I was in the scrap metal business cause "you don't need the money"? My (belated) response to him would have been - "You can tell me how to live when you pay my bills."
    People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
