haha, I just figured it out. After posting I was checking the links and looking at the photos, some reason the second one is clearer there. It says Korea ; )

I was going to say, it looked like Kore, or Nore. Makes sense if it says Korea then.

Bear I have found a lot of jewelry in my "dumpsters" since starting this dumpster sorting thing. Even a really nice floor jewelry box with some contents still remaining. My girlfriend and daughter get most and that is good. They do give me there no interest items back, almost always the old broken stuff. Most of it was 90% junk, but some was gold & silver. So I test all with acid kit now, because I see a lot of broken jewelry, that may or not be marked. I trade and sell all even what's not gold/silver "findings" to a local jeweller. I'm sure I could get a better return with the gold/silver, but she gave me a trade credit for the other stuff. This is a longtime family connection and came in handy recently (Xmas) for a special gift. Surprised me how much really small gold links, clasp and broken jewelry pieces make you. Take a lot of silver for same return, but money still and is worth testing. I do a small grind or file to expose any base metal, any copper or brass base metal has very little if any value and don't waste acid testing. I'm really surprised finding jewelry in dumpsters, but find coins and even the paper money.

Yes it has and is still good, don't have the name in front of me right now, but they also made those Holiday pins. Ladies and especially school teachers would wear in the 40's, 50's and 60's. These were really well crafted with color matching glass "stones". The christmas one's were very popular, and valuable today. The better finds and more rare are the Halloween, 4th, St. Patric's and easter. I will find the name of the company, I think they were made in Los Angeles. I first found a nice pair of earrings, I know less about jewelry than computers. These earrings were obvious unique at first glance, the stones had a brilliance that even I knew was above normal. Showed them to my gf and she said "old ladies $h*t, what would I want with them". Sold them to my jeweler friend for a $100 (she sold them for $200+). Turns out they were, some of the first items company made. The night I got paid for them, told my gf, "hey an old lady is taking us out to eat tonight, wear something nice".

One of the contractors that leases shop space, it's his trash that I find most of jewelry and old valuables. He buys old houses, entire contents sometimes from surviving relatives wanting quick settlement cash. He has no care or place any value on contents, bags everything up and into our dumpsters. Gotten some really good stuff, I have tried for more than a year now, to let me do his bagging and does't want to. I have offered to split earnings, getting same no don't have the time for it. Can't tell you the money and antiques this man is loosing out on. Always old good stuff in his trash, unfortunately always a lot of broken, not ever going to be made's too! Perfect example though "other people's trash, is someone's treasure".
