Gotta brag on my little girl !! Pics and Vid(vid updated)

So along with everything else I do I coach my daughters archery team along with the school resource officer (County Deputy). She is 10yrs old and has been shooting for a few months and has made the state archery team to compete at the state level against others in her age group. Last weekend she placed 3rd in the county tournament out of about 300 students. Talking bout a proud daddy!!!! I was more excited she made the state team than her I think...lol now if I can only get her to put that dang finger down near the arrow rest.

Based on your posts today, it is evident you are grounded and proud of your family.

Archery in the Schools program. I recognize the setup, bow, and other items in the pictures. Great program. I am an archery hunter and certified as a trainer of trainers in the program. With your interest in this program you might want to look into Project Adventure. I am a certified trainer in this as well and it is the best educational program I have seen. Thanks for your posts today, I do not have the talent you do, but we share the same interests.

cant get the dang video to load!! ohh well
Actually I was in a hunting accident in 2001, at the time I was a career firefighter for the city of Murfreesboro, I went back to full duty no restrictions 10 months after my accident, remained on the job for 7 years until working a 24 / 48 hr shift started taking it's toll.
Family is everything to me, only being trumped by God other than that family is first no matter what.
My son hangs out with me in the shop everyday and is turning 4 this week, he loves being a helper when it is safe for him to do so.

She has thrown her self into it, she has always struggled a little with her grades and her dedication to the archery team has made her start to excel with her studies as all the students are held accountable for their grades even more so with her seeing as I am one of her coaches. We try to practice daily if the weather is decent. Haven't been able to convince my wife that using the long hallway in the house would make a good makeshift range yet....LOL!! I'll look into the Project Adventure program for sure.

Man, that could be an accident just waiting for a chance to happen, I'd highly recommend against it
