this is a local truck that was handed down from father to son. did circle track, Bonneville salt flats and now pulls sleds. It started out back in the 80's. Last I heard it found a new home in New Zealand.

An don't ask me what it is..I just thought it was a cool truck! lol.

Today has been quite productive..I've done nothing but harass the wife and enjoy the cooler.

I wasn't expecting YOU to have to explain what that beast was.. I just wish I had that kind of $ to blow on making a tricked out Phat Big Rig.. I'd most likely use the money to do other things.. like getting a Mortgage balance with $0.00 on it! HA!

I think its neat - but I'm more of a fan of practical power not the show queens

Could have made more power with less flash just saying..

IIRC it's a 24v71, which usually came out of ocean vessels or large power unit applications. 1800hp in stock form. Uses 4 of the inline six cylinder heads. Can you imagine the crankshaft on that one?

I seen this truck or its twin back in the mid 70s. Doing burnouts on the street in front of a business that worked on trucks. The announcer said to cover your ears when it went by you to not damage your ear drums . The thing had 8 trucks slicks on the back and could burn them down for a 1/4 mile .
