Same here generally. About 30 years ago my dad bought a small straight truck parked it in the driveway, next day city told him to move it. Meanwhile, down a few streets I remember at least one contractor that had trailers with commercial signage parked in the driveway and had them for years as I grew up. I have had my trailer parked in the driveway and neighbors have never complained. I know a guy that parks a moving truck that he owns from time to time in his driveway. This is all in the same town, yet it is a law against parking commercial vehicles in private drives for extended periods of time. Part of it is people are trying to make a living, however, if they are treading on your comfort such as causing noise pollution (which could be another angle you could shoot against him).
