Finally did it, got a new...er truck.

Finally pulled the trigger on a truck. Been looking fooorever for a truck like this. Shes a 2004 Ram 3500 Diesel 6 speed manual. 230k kms, leather, chipped, complete new front end, piped, gorgeous truck. My dream rig finally becoming reality. Probably NOT the best choice for scrap but it will pull the car trailer with ease! Primarily what I do.

Picking it up Friday... 3600kms away! Im north of toronto and I found this beauty is Edmonton. I have a friend in Edmonton who viewed it for mr and gave me the A-OK, so im not going in blind. Reason for this? Saving me well over $5000, here in ontario the same truck with the same work/mods would be well over 20k. Picked this one up for 16k. Even with flight and fuel costs im saving cash, and.... NO SALT IN ALBERTA DURING THE WINTER! No rot!

Will post pics soon. (So chillax SirScrap, and the rest of you! you'll get your pics.....)
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

They are bad when a injector goes out you have no warning and it will burn up a piston.

No salt in Alberta 'cause its 'way too cold to melt anything anyway!!

Your new rig sounds like a nice snag. And the price is right! The ride home should be a blast!
I'll be looking for photos, too!

Knowing my luck, all the interesting stuff will happen when its turned off!!

This truck should help with my road rage as well. Instead of yelling and cursing, this thing dumps black smoke when you set up the programmer properly. Face full of coal is better than raging at morons...

I kid... for the most part

PS ill include a wicked solo just for you sirscrap
-Excuse me sir, do you smoke? .... yes I do .... ok well stand by ........ BWAAAHHHHHH (youtube video)

They are bad when a injector goes out you have no warning and it will burn up a piston.

What causes the piston to burn? Is it like a 2 stroke--too lean burns too hot and will burn you out?
