I got asked if I knew anything about scrapping metal today. hahaha, if they only knew.
Reminds me of a couple days ago. I was showing a guy who deals in scrap metal around my place. Toward the end he told me that it sounded like I knew what I was talking about. When I told my wife, she thought it was funny.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.
Had a tooth pulled a few yrs ago. First attempt was futile. I passed out so asked the cute attendant (girl) to hold my hand and proceed with the pulling. Got it that time. The girl felt sorry for me and about sat on my lap the whole time. Think I'll fake it next time whether I feel woozy or NOT !!
random thought...on a site and a guy asked female if it hurt when she hell from heaven...she replied back saying "no but I did scrape my knees coming up from hell"
I loved how quick she was and making one hell of a joke...but still sitting back thinking on that one lol
I was installing a phone system in a dentist office once and had to go to the truck to get my drill and a long bit that was about 2 feet long. Not thinking I walked back through the lobby full of people, put the bit in the chuck and fired the drill up a few times to tighten the bit. I wish you could have seen the looks on everyones face.
I find that when he says 'this will not hurt' just grab his balls and give a little twist and say 'I will let you know if you do'....
Maybe will focus his mind!!!!!!!!
I was a lucky one, in a manner of speaking. Had four impacted wisdom teeth extracted when I was 16 (am now 59). Went in on a Friday, put to sleep for an hour, went home and went back to sleep on my own. Liquid diet on Saturday (malts and soup, not the fun stuff), soft food on Sunday, and back to school for business as usual on Monday. Most unpleasant part was having a catgut suture in each corner of my mouth that started sliding through my gums as I began to heal - very weird feeling. Most fun though were the huge craters left in my mouth. I could pack almost a full meal of leftovers in there! All right, TMI, I know. Still have the teeth in a little bottle (I know, that is really TMI!) I wonder if they have any scrap value?
