Thumbs up Name your favourite restaurant/fast food joint + what to order from that restaurant?

Mine would be in T.O. - Tom's burger - Home burger mmmm with home fries -- reminds me of the beginning scene in walking dead with Shane and Rick

Down here on the sandbar, favorite is The Jolly Roger. Capt's platter. Spaghetti with peppers, Italian Sausage, and Meatballs. Comes on a huge plate. Four or five links of Sausage in quarters. A huge heaping of cheese on top. Meatballs the size of a small dogs head..hah! Their breakfast is pretty good to, an cheap. Pork chops an Eggs! oh, I also love the prime rib there. Perfectly seasoned, an they do a special every friday..9.95, two bucks more add all you can eat shrimp. I don't like seafood very much so I let the wife have mine.

My other favorite spot down here is..Biscuit n Porn. Yes it's real. lol. Best **** breakfast hands down..well tied with the Jolly to honest. Cheap food, huge amounts. Biscuits the size of a plate. Make awesome fried chicken, great steak n'cheese, an a kick ass club.

This thread is going to cause poor Cory fits. I don't think he'll be able to limit himself to just one..LOL.

    I've got two.
Princes Hot Chicken in Nashville and Charlies Steak House (closed now) in the Clarksville Tn. area. They had a 30oz. steak that was awesome and big also.

This is tough as there are SOOOO MANY restaurants around the Dallas area, last I checked Addison (small suburb of Dallas) has the most restaurants per capita in the entire country. I'm just going to have to break it down by category:

Breakfast - Old West Cafe. They've got this thing called a Cheyenne which is french toast made with a cinnamon roll

Pizza - Buddy's, this one's actually in Detroit and I can't wait till I visit this august and get to introduce my in-laws to it.

Lunch - Fred 62 - Seems I can't stay where I live as this one is in Los Angeles. By far the best Monte Cristo I've ever had

Comfort/Southern - Babe's Chicken (several locations north of dallas), they have really good chicken fried steak

Dinner - my wife's chicken parmesan...ok, so it's not a restaurant, but the recipe is modeled after Maggiano's chicken parm so it's kind of the same

I have it on good authority, that one Cory Couch, will be tearing this place UP tonight. I can neither admit, nor deny, that I have, or have not, had personal contact, with said individual.

Joey's Bar-B-Q in Chino, Ca. best baby back ribs on the planet, set on the patio with Ice tea, baked potato and ribs, listening to guy playing folk music, now that's the way to enjoy the afternoon.

We have some Pappas around Dallas and I've always wanted to try them out. Unfortunately my wife doesn't like seafood so the only times I get to go to a seafood joint is usually on my birthday. I have been to Pappadeux though (which is owned by the same company) and they were pretty good.

Bojangles. If I ever went into the restaurant business and choose to serve biscuits I would have to make them as good as Bojangles. Mike

For fast food, I agree with the great MikeD above. Bojangles is crazy good. Pork chop biscuit is kick ass, their chicken is pretty good, an the biscuits are awesome.

    Other fast food favorites...

Hardee's/Carl Jrs. - Good fast food burgers.
Whataburger - Good burgers, an even better mustard.

Taco hell..err bell when I feel lazy or just need a quick taco fix.
Five Guys, one of the best **** burgers around. Good food, good value.

Brojer...if you can tear Cory away from the bar. lol. or the food.

    Sirscrapalot - MMmmhmm good.

It used to be that way for me with Sonic, when I was still up in Northern Va. ads all the time for sonic, yet closest one was 3 hours away in the south. lol.

Sonic isn't bad at all. Specially with those half price milk shakes! I think I've only had one bad experience there. Good food. Love the dogs. Burgers ain't bad. Wife likes their breakfast burritos, tho I don't. An my facemunchers love the tatertots. lol.

Sirscrapalot - Beware the facemuncher if you have tater tots in your hand...you will get tackled.

If you are ever in downtown Toledo check out Pizza Papalis make sure you order ahead they are so busy it takes at least an hour or so. Kind of expensive but it's money well spent.
