Check up in the sky! At the moon, crystal clear tonight and yes I'm have another nerd attack! Wish I hadn't given my telescope away.

I got to see it and it was pretty awe-inspiring, especially when it turned red. Of course here it was happening mainly from about 1-3 am so I had to give up a little sleep for it but it was worth it. I went out about every 15 minutes and got to see pretty much every phase of it. As much as the nerd in me loves sci-fi and space, I've never had a telescope, although I would love to get one, that and a good camera to get some good pictures. I'm finishing up the Mass Effect trilogy on my xbox right now and it sort of gave me a better perspective of the universe just by looking at it. Yeah, I've got some nerd in me too, ok, maybe a lot.

I checked it out @ about 10pm ct. I think eclipse was like 3am. Wasn't staying up for that. Seemed really bright. What is a blood moon??? Idk they were talking about it on the local news here.

I set my patio chair out in the driveway last night, fixed me a cocktail, took my laptop to keep up with the eclipse on line (11:30 pm to 12:15 am). Neighbor out walking his dog (works swing shift) says "ole lady kick you to the curb". No I say watching the "Moon". He looks up, says yep still there! Down the sidewalk he goes shaking his head.
