Someone on craigslist isn't fast enough...and seems to not be too fond of scrappers

Just came across this ad in the local free section on craigslist and thought I'd share it.

Want some cheese to go with that whine, pal? You goes & looks, you takes your chances. MANY times it's gone before I get there... many times it's not. That's the fun.

Lol that is a funny whine. So what does he expect everyone to call him because he is the only who does the scrapping? Some people are just too funny.

What's funny is there was a very similar one posted in our FREE section here in Kansas City. It was worded the same and everything........weird.

I used to be kind and post ads for free stuff.. My phone would all but explode from people saying "Can ya hold it for me?" "Could you drag it back to your garage and I will come and get it?" Hell no! The point is I want it gone--whatever it may be.. I could care less if it is you or Joe Schmo who puts it on his truck.. for me I get the result I need- unwanted item GONE!

I don't do curb alerts but you have to admit they work. You can post almost anything on CL and someone will want it.

I agree with Jimicrk, most people put thiere trash on Craigs list because they are too lazy to take it to the dump.

I helped my neighbor clean up what was left of a house that burned down. After all the wood was removed the foundation walls were pushed over leaving a lot of good blocks. I told him to post them on CL and that afternoon they were all gone. I really believe I could post a dog turd on there and someone would pick it up.

I'm one of those people that put their trash on craigslist for free, but it's not because I'm lazy. Why waste gas in hauling an ugly old beat up stained mattress to the dump and then have to pay a fee to the dump to get rid of it when someone else will just come to you and take it! Or even better sometimes even PAY YOU for it. Saves time, gas and money! That's a win all the way around

I don't do the curb thing though. Once in a while wouldn't be a big deal but I get so much junk with all the auctions I do that my neighbors would probably start complaining if I was always putting stuff out on the curb. Plus I don't really like people from craigslist knowing where I live. Luckily I have a storage unit that's a mile down the road so I just always direct people there.
