Trusting others. I gave money to a "partner" who held it past its original purpose, expecting it would be used for business at some point. My money and the partner disappeared.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

Flaw: Trusting a brother who never helps finish the breakdown but still expects to get paid like he did. Lesson learned!

I once let the cooler go empty. It was traumatic. I can't speak anymore of it. The memories...anyone have a hanky?

I've been biting by chisels, attacked by a fridge, but that's about it.

Many moons ago, didn't use a dolly: fell down a flight of stairs, looked up to see the refrigerator I was moving come thundering down towards me. (!) As far as business failings: I don't have a spare month to share them.

My biggest flaw is spending to much time thinking about all the things I can do, and not enough time actually doing them.

Mixing business with friendship. 20 year friendship ended in a fight, him with a wired jaw and a restraining order. Found out my life long "friend" had been taking money from the business for almost 5 years. Running loads and skimming off the top, selling processors on his girlfriends eBay, using my company name to get contacts then picking up/processing/selling on his own time.. yea ..

    Flaws.....none

    Failures......not realizing my flaws.

But seriously, I've failed at many things including a used car lot and a funeral home, the first only because of too much red tape and the second by not putting a spending cap on a partner.

I don't think it is a flaw to trust people, but it is wise to keep tabs on them while trusting them.

I noticed my biggest flaw being a lack of knowledge , so I read. Read read . I am learning a lot ,so I guess my biggest flaw now would be procrastinating on breaking down things . I had 10 towers sitting waiting for me for a few weeks while I read/watched every easy post I could . Gathered some good info and have a decent amount sorted.
So I guess I'm finding flaws all the time, but that's fine because it helps me improve . I think the only failure any of us will ever have is not viewing and correcting our flaws.

Threads like this help me cause I'm allready thinking of ten other things I need to address , thanks now I'm full on OCD .

I sure wish I had put tarps down in the gravel section of my driveway before breaking stuff down. I will never be able to get all the little bits of plastic and glass out of there. Magnets only get so much of the little bitty screws in a gravel lot.

You might make you one of these out of hard drive magnets.
