    Got Caught



    Well i was getting a few sheets of tin that was basically on the side of the road and this ******* almost runs into me and starts yelling is this your fing land?
    they was maybe 5 sheets of tin so basically 5 bucks and he confronts me and i could have beat this old guys ass and he has a lil kid with him
    i told him do you realizeif you start yelling at some of these guys doing this to feed there familys they will hurt you

    then later on hours later we see him hiding in the woods all over a few dollars
    just crazy

    Was this tin on the side of the road, or does "basically on the side of the road" mean it was on someone's land, but close to the road?

    Maybe I'm missing something.

    The one piece of tin i got was in the drainage ditch,which here is public property
    Its just crazy somone is willing to spend hours upon hours keeping people from getting a few dollars in tin just crazy
    a few miles from me theres probaly 50 bucks worth a metal and a guy put up a $1700 fence just to keep people from getting that lil bit of metal

    Sometimes putting up a fence is the only way to keep people from stealing your stuff. I would too. I don't like people coming on my property and stealing stuff. Sounds to me like stealing is rampant in your area based on those two stories. Not to mention that if someone gets hurt on my property trying to steal from me, I get sued. That fence is saving him from a lot more than 50 bucks worth of scrap.

    Seems like anything laying around is open season for anyone around there. If it is on someones land it is there's, no matter the value!
