Well we made the National news again today

So due to the algae bloom that is currently in the western part of lake erie, the entire cities water supply is not safe to consume. Here's the story from CNN. Our mayor isn't the best public speaker by any means. Test results are suppose to be in around 730 tonight. There is already a state of emergency for the city and if the test results show a reason for more long term concern, FEMA will be brought in to provide water. I had to drive an hour east to pick up water. Every store in the city was already sold out of water by 8am. Luckily I also have family who live out in the country with wells so I filled a couple coolers and containers with water. I'm hoping for the best but planning for the worst.

Yeah I'm set for now. All the stores should have enough steady supply to keep up with the demand, on top of the other people, and national guard. We'll see for how long this morning during a press conference at 6 a.m. I hope that things bring National attention to the already major issue of water supply. The great lakes account for 20% of the worlds fresh water supply. So, if something isn't done with the condition of the lake, it's going to spiral out of control. Why is it that action always comes after the issue is already to the point where it's a problem? (rhetorical question)
