    Gas Prices

Gas has been going down almost .10 a week where I live. Last week unleaded was at $3.23, this week it's down to $3.16. With my gas card, I get it down to $3.05. What kind of prices are yall getting?

I got gas for 3.42 gallon yest , that is actually down about .18 c from previous weeks , I can't say it's good thou I still remember the .99 c a gallon days from when I first got behind the wheel. There are a few places that give a discount around here if you pay cash.

3.60 is the best I've seen around here at ARCO. I don't know if it's still the case, but I remember California having to have a different (more expensive) blend than other states for emission standards.

That's interesting. It's weird how gas prices work, because if you go down to the Houston and Corpus Christi areas, gas is .30-.40 cents more than Austin. All of the oil refineries are down there, so you would expect gas to be cheaper because of less of a transportation cost, but I guess not. lol

Yeah, I would think that too. The bay area has a lot of refineries, but it's more there than farther inland here in Sacramento. Maybe because of cost of living.

Gas....arrrgghhhhh! Here in the BC Kootenays, Canada, I'm paying about US$4.60 per US gallon! (CDN$ 1.33/li for any Canadjans on this list)

I'm close to the border and can get gas in Idaho. Last week it was US$3.70 in Sandpoint, and its no problem if I just fill my pickup but if I bring a barrel back they will charge me 5.1% duty and 12% sales taxes. Can't win.

Time to try burning used oil in my old diesel pickup instead.

    Jon.

I paid 3.12 yesterday, saw one place today at 3.11. Prices have been falling 1-2 cents per day for about a month now. Like everything else prices are set by supply and demand.

In NewZealand we are paying NZ$2.20 a Litre. That's about US$2 a litre.

I think there's 3.5 litres in a gallon (can't you guys be consistant about measurements??? Hell a Tons a Ton &that's 1000Kg here.... I buy a 1/2 gallon beer and that's 2.5 litres... quart of Vodkas 1.125Litres... but petrols... ah forget it..jus playing with yah imperialists...)

So here, you would be paying US$7 a gallon. ...

(Of petrol, petrol dammit! No, I ment gas, gas? Wot? Its a liquid!
!..No not liquid petroleum gas.. That's LPG!... gasoline. yeah that's it, Gasoline! Working this out is like "putting out fire with gasoline" haha, that's a pun)
