How much will I make threads

I know everyone wants to know how much they can make. I wondered the same thing. This Question is asked a lot. Was wondering if we could make a sticky on this subject with the standard reply. One with the common reply that is used on these threads.. It all depends on how much time you put in. Also where you live ect ect.

Just an idea to help new members out.

That is a good idea. I am a new member and would welcome a feature like that.

Good idea, but would never work, like filthy said to many variables.. but after 3 haules or so a person could build their own averages of how much they will make.

Surely those answers are common sense right?

"Hi guys, what will happen if I hit my car with a hammer? Thanks in advance "

    ...um....you will dent it??

yeah, you might be able to post a maximum for a complete teardown. but its still going to be an average, and its still going to be a range, rather than an actual set value.

Personally, I'd rather know what's inside, and the difficulty or ease in removing it, than what it's actually worth. After you know what's inside, then it's up to you whether or not you want to further teardown.

Luckily, there is already a forum topic for this reason.

Like my signature says, NOTHING BEATS EXPERIENCE, JUST GO OUT AND DO IT.

The people coming here asking how much they will make are looking for quick cash and not interested in putting the time in. I have been recycling for over 15 years and have a pretty good idea what I can make off of anything that comes my way, but then again, I have experience behind me.

If you just want me to tell you how much you will get without doing any kind of research first then I don't have the time to help you, but if you are interested in doing the work and looking for an easier way of tearing something apart or other little tips and tricks, then I am all for helping.

Just the way I feel and sorry if it rubs anybody the wrong way.

you new gys and some who have been here a while are interested in maximizing your profit. I sugest you learn first to maximize this forum. there is a whole section dedicated to your suggestion. if people would just use it, it is called breaking down and maximizing.

When I first posted this, I meant to make a sticky that said....

"You will make what you put into it"

At the time there were a lot of thread asking this question, so to cut down on those type of threads, there could be a sticky new poeple could read and get thier answer.
