Unhappy Als....a story everyone should read

I came across this video, an this is the one that hit me more than any other video I saw. I don't care if its ALS or heart or some other thing that kills that has no cure (like cancer) we all need to support the people who work hard to find the cure as we never know when us, family member or a close friend can find them self in a spot.

The person in the video had to deal with this in more than one way and him being as strong as he is with something that will make his body so weak...this is something that I find upsetting and wish there was a cure or something that could control it to some degree...

    I have donated, have you?

Me and my wife did this the other day, got challenged by my sons school teacher!
We try to donate to stuff like this when we can, but come on who can pass up dousing some one in ice water?

As long as people remember that even tho you do this donating is the big part of it.
So grab a bucket, send 20 dollars in, then pick 3 people to keep it going.

ALS = Lou Gehrigs Disease...for those not up to date on the term.

An yes, it's a worthy cause.

Yes I donated an no, your not dumping a bucket of water on me.

    Either way, a good cause.

Sirscrapalot - Donating time, money, etc is always a worthy thing to do for whatever cause you support. - me, you, someone else..who knows.

All the employees from a company did this today because of the challenge. The company paid the entire donation for anyone willing to take the ice bath (quite the twist). It prevented them from future nominations. Wish it was on video because it was interesting. It was above ninety degrees and several other contractors joined the fun. It is great to see individuals and social organizations take on this challenge before it became a government mandate.
