    I'm all for starting slowly and working your way up.

    To even consider paying 1k a month for a shop when you are not making 6-10k just isn't a great idea. It's not just the lease payment, there will be light bills, insurance, ect....

    I wouldn't even consider it unless you are leaving 3-4k a month on the table EVERY MONTH.

    My suggestion would not be looking for a shop, but instead looking for a storage unit. You out grew your home, cool, move to a storage unit. Then a bigger storage unit and maybe even a 2nd unit. Once you out grow those, I would look at getting a shop. The cost will only be a fraction of commercial space and if it doesn't work out you don't have a big commitment.

    Overhead can quickly kill a business. Why create more bills?
