You two are in my thoughts. I hope it all works out and they get the source of the problem right off.

It should be routine .... Did the doctor run blood tests to check his TSH levels ?

Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I finally was able to be released tonite with some new medications. Took awhile for all the different doctors to sign off on my release. Then spent over 2 hours waiting on the VA hospital to fill my prescriptions. I'm ready to start checking the forum again but I may not be on quite as much as I have a bunch of Ebay to get listed (and caught up on). They are hoping to control the heart with med's but if that doesn't work then it may be surgery again in about a month. It's too early to tell if the first surgery was a success or not. It was still flipping in and out of regularity as of this afternoon. I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you that sent prayers and good wishes as I felt someone was with me and I was at ease. In case your interested here is a link to read up on the topic.

WELCOME BACK MECH!!!! I'm glad that you're out and pray that the new medication they put you on keeps everything in check. I have SVT, which is a similar condition, and since I've been on medication I haven't had any episodes. Hope you get some R&R and take it easy for awhile. God Bless.

EDIT: Tell your wife thank you for letting everyone here know what was going on.
