I'm working on a similar setup.
What are you looking to buy?
E-Waste? Catalytic Converters? Something completely different?
I'd look at the current buyers, and see what they are offering. Especially for the "local" buyers. You may be able to get a large regional following. I'm in Wyoming, so lower prices may be more competitive for a scrapper in Utah than shipping them to Pennsylvania would be.
If you're looking to get the wheels rolling, you may want to only work with small quantities at first. The best thing is to be upfront. I'd be fine sending you E-Waste if you needed 2 weeks to process it. I just like to know ahead of time.
If you're not testing stuff, you're lead times will be shorter, though.
Just a little stuff to get you started. If there's anything else I can answer, please don't hesitate to let me know.
