    finally outgrew old building

We outgrew our previous bulding and have been fighting for space for the last year or so.

Found this building for a steal while almost doubling our space

We have started moving already but is probably going to be a 2 month process as we have to move while still servicing our customers

electricity gets turned on Monday so i can get some decent interior pics then

building is the one in front of the 2 cars with upstairs windows

    Looks nice!

Now, how much heavy stuff do you have to take up the stairs?

I can't guess the square footage, but it looks big... and in nice shape!

    finally outgrew old building

its an old movie theater so the upstairs is only approx 12 x 40. its use was the projection room. its new use will be kids playroom

    dimensions are 40 x 80 3200 sq feet

being that its in one of the outlying small villages I was able to get it for a steal. whopping $350 a month. I was able to almost double my space while cutting my rent by more than half

its 20 miles from the house and about 35-40 minutrs from our main metro area where the majority of the customer base is located

One recommendation is make certain all the communication is up and running before you finalize the move. Congrats on the move. Mike

100% agreed. I still have the other lease effective until march so we can ease into new facilities with less disruption as possible

That'll be a nice spot! I can't believe that you were able to rent that much for that little.

The kids will be happy too!

I use a MagicJack for a separate recycling number. It can plug into your router, or hook into a computer. I do E-Waste, so no problem there!

Would a cell signal booster work? There are a lot of them out here, and people seem to like them. Might be worth a shot.

Best of luck with the new building!

I use Ooma, both at home and at work.
You buy the Ooma box & plug it into your router.
Ooma basic is essentially FREE, you pay only the sales tax: approx. $3.00/Month.
I use OOma Pro at the office. I get two phone numbers, voice mail, call forwarding & more.
I am more than pleased with the setup.

Your big issue will be if you can connect to the router. I used MagicJack, specifically because I have an option to plug into a computer. My router is in another room, and the landlord is kept happiest this way.

I've heard many good things on Ooma, though. They're both nice systems.

    have some pictures

view of loading / intake area from back dock. The large white divider wall is covered in pegboard as well approx 20 x 40

main area is carpeted and at one time was used to sell fireplaces and heaters so each area was set up to look like different rooms

I want a sort of Ben and Jerry's cow next to my office!

The space looks nice and large. For $350/month, you can't complain!

You know I was all set to just post.."That's cool! Thanks for sharing the photos!"

But you have a huge cow in one of the photos so I'm upgrading your post to..

    "That's freaking awesomesauce x 10!"

Seriously tho...nice digs. Looks like you gotta lot of room to fill before having to move again.

An..does the cow have a name? You can't have a mascot of a cow an not have it have a name. Don't make me write PETPAM(People for Ethical Treatment of Plastic Animal Mascots).

Congrats again on the new digs.
