You know, you could've visited that Waffle house before their truck came. Same with the IHOP. Places do run out from time time to time. Far as chicken...I've been to many chicken places where they've run out. Usually due to specials their running, unanticipated huge order, etc. My KFC has many things to order besides just a bucket of chicken.

Guess my point is..just cause a place runs out of something doesn't mean their idiots. Could be other stuff going on that you don't know. Like their truck schedule, ordering rules, etc. On a side note...down here on my sandbar we run out of certain seafood quickly in the summer months, guess all these restaurants suck for running out of things. I mean they could always over order an just sell bad fish or throw out what doesn't sell..

My Local Harris Teeter sucks, they ran out of shredded cheese. I shall never shop there again!

Sirscrapalot - Sometimes what you think is the problem..isn't.
I am guessing a lot of the people that are complaining about food not being available at these restaurants have never had a job serving or selling a perishable food product. It is a tricky task to order food because if you order too much you will have a lot left over and it will go bad quickly and if you order too little you will run out and people will make fun of you on webforums, haha. But, back to Sledge's original post on the lids, that could of been prevented.

@phred59 "What the hell good is a KFC with no chicken??" The mashed potatoes and coleslaw, oh yes!
