    Expensive Coffee Place FAIL

Barista: Hi, Welcome to Starbucks. We are out of Grande and Venti Lids.
Me: Umm Ok, Can I get a Grande Mocha without the lid?
Barista: Oh no I'm sorry it is against corporate policy to serve you a drink without the lid.
Me: Oooo K.. Can I have a Mocha in whatever size cup you have a lid for?
    Barista: Sure thing!

So how does a place that relies on selling its product.. IN A CUP.. run out of lids to go on said cup?

I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

I was out doing Christmas Shopping for my wife this afternoon. As a tradition, when I do her Xmas shopping I treat myself to a Starbucks. I figure a $4 cup of coffee once or twice a year won't break the bank.
    Oh and:

Not a coffee man, but will drink a 32 oz. beer when shopping for the wife. It helps me make better choices for her gifts and she does not b***h, so it must be a good thing.

They have never run out of lids for this choice so Sledge you need to change your beverage of choice.

Up next, tire stores will run out of tires.

I don't go for the pleasures of life like that. I can't stand coffee, or McDonalds. A good day will have its own pleasures.

I guess I'm easy to please.

You could have *almost* bought a gallon of diesel with that $4. Just paid $4.57/gal for #1 in N. Dakota... My anus hurts.

The Saudis are dumping oil on the market to drive the price down. They are trying to run the USA out of the fracking business. I *THINK* I heard on the radio about $65-70 a barrel is where it is no longer profitable to drill up here. It's getting dangerously close to that price. On a side note another train derailed in Casselton, ND. Build the ****ing Keystone XL.

I know everyone is just razzing me.. giving me the "ol hard time"
    It's all good.
That's one of the reasons I love the forum.. You could post something for one intent (read: HA HA FUNNY) and next thing you know you are saying "Man that cup of coffee could buy you a gallon of gas" All good.. all good!

I thought coffee came in a can. $7 for 86 cups

    #bendoverformycoffee #notworthit #givememycheapcoffee

Guess that makes me the "Barista" strong, hot, willing to sell without the lid for $3

Sledge.....yeah, I get the point. The lid problem and ensuing refusal to sell their main product sure shows the lack of management in that place. In a perfect world, they run out of cups and lids at the exact same time. They aren't the only ones with the inability to reorder.

I was at Steak-N-Shake once and it took forever to get the shakes after our meal (extravagant I know). We finally found out that they had ran out of milk and sent someone to the grocery store to buy more.

Last Christmas, I took the family to Waffle House (can't throw rocks at me for that one...haha) and sadly, they were out of waffle mix!. Really?? Waffle mix?? It's your NAME people!!

My Mother and Father in Law have an infamous story they tell constantly. One night they pull up to the drive-thru at Arby's. Over the speaker comes a voice: "Welcome to Arby's, we're out of beef"
