    Bad Drivers

I live on a corner lot where the west bound road " T's " into the north/south bound road. There is a elementary school up the street so it can be busy depending on the time of day. Get out of the shower about 545am to find flashing lights out front so I go check it out and the dark car had slammed into the white car sending it into the neighbors fence. Had to go get her (she's in her 80's) so the police could talk to her and after about an hour it was all cleared out.

After things settle down I'm in the dining room talking to my son only to look up in time to see a minivan air born where the roads "T" and wedging it self in between my other neighbors garage and fence and teetering on a retaining wall. Now there were no screeching tires or attempt to stop so I'm not sure what he was looking at. I was there in seconds and lucky for him he missed the two telephone poles he went thru and was not hurt but was kind of trapped in his van...now here's the kicker...no one else in the van, he can't get out, yet he tells the police he wasn't driving. The tow truck driver had his work cut out for him on this job.

I'm glad there were no school children walking on the sidewalk when either of these wrecks happened.

    That sucks.

Glad everyone is ok, the drivers who wrecked, neighbors, etc.

I bet the cops had a good laugh over the "I wasn't driving" guy. He's lucky he didn't kill himself or anyone else.

An if that's your neighbors yard in the last shot...tell them..Nice RV!

A Few Years ago at approx 4:00 AM on a WIDE open Main Street in town.. my wife and I were awoken by "BANG............BANG"
We get up to see my neighbors car pushed off the street and nearly into their next door neighbors porch.

Oddest thing was he had packed his lunch and put it in the trunk of the car for the morning- I remember finding his sandwich laying in the street.

She hit a parked car they estimated at about 55 MPH on a 30 MPH street.
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!

Don't worry KZ, look on the bright side, there is lots of potential scrap nearby. Hope you scored..That's the way I see it. Turn a bad situation into a good one.
