I can't even imagine how this company is going to recover any money with scrappers like ourselves running up and down the streets grabbing everything we can like a costco shopping spree.

The article states that the drop-off points will be at the front door, and later on, they say they'll be inside.
If the points are outside, I doubt that ERI will be getting much!
its like a parade here when multi towns have free waste day you see all of us here following around trucks trailers and garbage men/women
That's how it works for lots of scrappers. Computers in the truck, CRTs left at the pick up points.
I'd be interested to see how much this is costing the NYC taxpayer.
I watched a cop show, might have been NYPD Blue i'm not certain. Anyway a sofa was out at the curb ready for pick up and two guys stopped their van an attempted to pick it up. Well the sofa was being "staked out" buy under cover sanitation department cops. They arrested the two guys only to find a dead body hidden in it. The story continued about the dead body not the sofa.
So it if it is true that NYC has sanitation cops they will be able to keep the scrappers away from the tax profit. Mike
