    Be Careful

Was watching the weather channel this morning and they reported a 52-car pileup already so be careful and drive safe, the roads are slick and snowy.

yep, it's just lightly snowing here. They were saying that in the middle of this 52-car pileup was this guy that was perfectly cocooned in his truck with his back against the rear window, sandwiched between two rigs. Guy couldn't get out because he couldn't reach his knife to cut the seat belt.

I hope it's a short winter for you guys dealing with all that ice. We had five days and nights of cold weather and the lowest temp. was 28 (cold by our standards). Today the highs will only be in LOW 70's.

I don't mind the weather too much, it was about this time two years ago though that my wife slipped on our front stairs smashing her patella. She hates snowy weather.

Yep, experienced my first with black ice when I lived in Sioux City. Apparently studded tires don't always help.

Like the guy here local that had the studded tires put on the drive wheels of his car and the tire shop put them on the rear of his front drive car. lol

Wow, that's all kinds of special right there. Probably shoulda explained a bit more lol, studded tires on a 4wd vehicle doesn't always work. I've slid around with the current truck I have but it was on purpose. Sometimes I'm glad I don't have ABS(yay for Ford's open-float rear axle).
