    drastic change coming

Due to metal prices and recent medical issues( coincidently partially due to being over worked) I am closing up shop come the end of February. Unfortunately that means that I have to let 2 people go. I am still going to service my most important client. But for now I'm letting everything else except them and newspapers go. I'll expand more shortly but now sleep is calling....

We purchase laptop computers and many components for greater than scrap value. We offer a shipping reimbursement program.replies

Rest up! Fatigue can have some nasty side effects. Hope all is well!

thank you for the kind words!
Recently both my son and I have been diagnosed with aspergers syndrome. While its not a problem perse, I'm just happy to have answers to our "strangeness". Also I have a excruciating pain in my lower back, like someone is stabbing me in my spine. Balance issues(I fell off the truck a few weeks ago). I'm very tired all the time as well. I watch my sugar intake, so I know its not too much sugar. I dk. Follow up Drs appt next week so hopefully I'll start getting some answers.
On the plus side, I may only have to let one guy go, had a long talk with the younger of my 2 workers. He wants to keep working even if that means that he just gets enough every week to cover his bills. Which I'm happy about but at the same time not so much because he works hard for me. I will feel like I'm cheating him out of money. Do I'm not sure how to approach this situation

You might want to try out a piece work arrangement.

    update

Update: Were still not sure what's going on with my back. Ran blood tests, nothing too unusual. No diabetes,Liver function is a little weird tho doc said. Ordered more tests on my thyroid. I got into a pretty bad car accident, so no more newspapers&#128546that was my main income)...... so now im scrambling to make up that income. In the plus side I have found a new avenue for steady scrap. Its all pretty much the exact same thing. I'll start a post about that tho very soon. Cody is no longer working for me (the younger one). The judge told him he had to find a "steady real job". So he has found employment else where. But I'm happy to report he is doing very well. Ron, the one I had to let go on Christmas eve is back, we've worked out the issues and plugging along. Wish the prices will get better.

I got a bad back a few months ago. Just back strain.

Doc gave me 'Norflex & neurofin'. That fixed it but I still have to take the pillls

Sorry to hear about the back pain. I suffered for years and the doctors weren't really all that much help. When it's hurting all the time all you want it to do is stop. Sometimes the pain saps all of your energy.

Try to figure out if it's muscular -or- skeletal. An X-ray should tell the doctor if a disc is damaged and the vertebrae (bones) are grinding together.

If it's muscular these things might help:

1: Try physical therapy exercises intended for the back.

2: Drink tons of fresh water ... cut back on the caffeine. Straight cranberry juice is good too. ( See if that helps. )

3: Some kind of Glucosimine Chondritin. ( Good for the tissue between the bones. )

4: Processing firewood through the wood splitter. ( The turning & twisting action can loosen tight back muscles. )

5: Wear a back brace. (Put Icy Hot patches over where it hurts.)

6: Best thing i found though was Schweppes tonic water. It tastes kinda like white grapefruit juice so it takes some getting used to but it worked like a charm ! (The quinine in it is a natural muscle relaxant.) Try a liter a day for three or four days and see if it makes any difference. You might be surprised.

I hope it all works out for you.
