If I won that, build my wife the house of her dreams, for putting up with her a hole husband, and then a track hoe, skid steer and then the shop of my dreams, probably a city block of shop. After that I'd proceed to buy every piece of scrap metal I could find, might as well since the price is down. And get sir scrap one of those coolers that's motorized. And probably build a couple demo cars too.

I have to amend my first post, where I said I'd only buy scrap room members a cooler.

I was trying not to play favorites, but Tater is one of my favorites so I'd have to make an exception for him an a few others that aren't a part of the scrap room. ....Instead it'll be..."buy a cooler for all scrap room members, and regular posters who are not!"

Bringing coolers to the masses, one powerball win at a time..I know I know..I'm shoe in for Sainthood.

Patriot my sister works with trouble teens there in South Dakota, Trying hard to provide a education, diversion away from crime, addictions and violent/abusive homes. For such a low per capitol population, that state has more than it's share of troubled youth. Your idea is exactly what she is recommending to the existing governor. She has made a lot of reforms there, but has nothing but horror stories still! The Native American youth in particular have dire needs, as the statistics indicate a continued state of hopelessness, without a big change of direction. The rural isolated camps would help reestablish some of their "lost heritage" also empowering them to heal and learn a better quality of life. Play the lottery and I hope you are the winner.

I rarely play the lottery, thanks to my inner cheapskate I do occasionally take a stab at it. Someone always eventually wins, and the only way to guarantee it won't be you is to not play.

Of course, I'd do the obvious stuff. Mortgage- Bye bye. Truck payment-gone. No one in my family would have a mortgage or vehicle payment. For my kids, I would get them both started in whatever business or career they chose to pursue. They would start with everything they needed, a nice little "egg" of start-up capital/emergency funds and zero debt. The rest would be up to them. I would keep my 2011 Ram 2500 work truck, but also have a "keep nice and don't beat up" truck. New Ram 2500 SLT in Timberline Green Metallic, quad cab/short bed (wouldn't need the 8-foot for this one), and of course the Cummins diesel/6-speed. Only way I'll buy a truck. For my wife, it would be a Dodge Challenger Hellcat with the 392 Hemi/6-speed. She's wanted one since they came out. Oh, yeah, and $10,000 in advance to take care of those pesky speeding tickets.

I would still work, make my small company bigger and hire some help. With several hundred million kicking around, I might even buy my own refinery, just for the fun of making the "big boys" really sweat

Even with hundreds of millions, I think I would stay where I am and finish restoring my old farmhouse. I despise the very thought of moving all of my stuff ever again. Although, it would be cool to walk up to your dream house, have the owner politely inform you that it's not for sale, and reply with "Sure it is." while presenting them with a huge suitcase full of Big Bens.

Looks like it was $564.1 million with 3 winning tickets, not one of mine! LOL

One winner was here in NC.

It wasn't me tho. I did have two numbers tho!

It's all Sledge's fault he told me to go with the numbers on my fortune cookie.

When I heard NC on the news this morning I thought of you SirS. Was hoping it was, then you would have to open up that cooler and USPS us all a cold one. It would only be fair.

Sledge, that's my fave station, or it used to be. I've been listening to it since it was CFNY. Now I'm too old to "appreciate" most of that new crap they play though. Gimme Pearl Jam, Nirvana and STP all day long.

Just an update. I did in fact get (3) numbers on the Powerball. I won $7. I want to thank all of you that supported me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my Big Mac meal at Mcdonalds.
