Only time I did paintball I was 18 and the hotel I worked at we all went out to have some fun, well 1st round I am getting shot at and dive down so they miss me. I hit a fresh cow pie!! SO all day I smelled cow $hit!!!

In my day we used real BB guns.

I played for about 25yrs or so. One of the guys in the group was on the #2 team in the country. Great fun but I finally got a couple of years ago. Too many hobbies and no one to play with anymore.
Years ago the only protection was geeky science goggles. I remember some tall fat guy showing up with a pink button down shirt for woods ball. Guess who was first out every game! Buy the end of the day he'd taken 3 to the face. Forehead, chin and neck. Lol.
Another good one was a work outing where a dude hit our bosses gf in the face almost point blank. He wasn't at work on Monday.....

My best was diving for cover into ground bees nest. Ouch

I still play with a pump if that's nostalgic enough for anyone lol. Pretty good with it too. I hear most "pro" players are switching to something called mag fed where the hopper's below the gun instead of above it and is gravity fed into the chamber. Oh well, we do it to have fun.
